Connect Importify with Aliexpress API

Learn how to resolve the AliExpress connection error in Importify's WooCommerce plugin with our step-by-step troubleshooting guide.

Connect your AliExpress account to Importify through the Settings page and authorize the API connection. This one-time setup enables automated importing and fulfilling AliExpress products.

Before starting the process, make sure you have a regular buyer account on AliExpress. If you don't have one yet, register at https://login.aliexpress.com/

Step-by-Step Connection Process:

  1. Access Importify Dashboard: Log into your Importify account. You'll be taken to the main dashboard where you can manage all your dropshipping activities.

  2. Follow the Getting Started Checklist: On your dashboard, locate the "Getting Started Checklist" section which displays the key setup steps in order.

  3. Authorize AliExpress API: Within the checklist, find the "Authorize AliExpress API" section.
Click the blue "Connect" button located on the right side of this section.

  • Enter your AliExpress email address or username

  • Type in your AliExpress password If you're already logged into AliExpress, these fields may be pre-filled.

  1. Grant Permissions After entering your credentials, you'll see a permissions request screen. Importify needs these permissions to:

  • Access your basic AliExpress account information

  • Verify your login status

  • Connect with your AliExpress shop

Simply check the "I agree" box at the bottom and click the orange "Authorize" button.

  1. Complete Connection You'll be automatically redirected back to Importify. The API connection status should now show as connected.

What's Next? Once connected, you can start importing products from AliExpress to your store. The connection will remain active until you disconnect it, and you won't need to repeat this process unless you sign out.

Troubleshooting Tips:

  • If the connection fails, try logging out of AliExpress completely and logging back in

  • Clear your browser cache if you encounter any errors

  • Ensure you're using a supported browser (Chrome, Firefox, or Edge)

  • Check that your AliExpress account is in good standing

Technical Notes: This connection uses secure OAuth2 authentication and needs to be performed from the same browser where you're logged into your AliExpress account. Keep your AliExpress credentials secure and never share them with unauthorized users.
