How to import products into specific collections with Importify?

Importify allows you to assign products to collections during the import process. Here's how:

Start the Import Process:

- Use the Importify extension on a product page you want to import.

- Click the Importify button to open the import window.

Find the Collection Field:

- In the import window, locate the "Collection" field under the General section.

Select Collections:

- Click the "Select Collection" dropdown.

- Choose one or multiple collections for the product.

Search for Collections:

- Use the search bar in the dropdown to find specific collections quickly.

Multiple Selections:

- You can select multiple collections by clicking on several options.

Complete the Import:

- Fill in other product details as needed.

- Click "Add to your Store" to finish.

Important Note for Shopify Users:

When creating new collections in Shopify, always select the "manually select products" option. Otherwise, the collection won't appear in the Importify extension. This is due to a Shopify API limitation.

To create a compatible collection in Shopify:

1. Go to Products > Collections in your Shopify admin.

2. Click "Add collection".

3. Under "Products selection", choose "Manually select products".
